They are all unused, and date from around 1970s. They are in excellent condition, lacquer coated for safety to reduce the risk of shattering when used. It says on the box that they are fine to use if the dot is blue, which 8 of the Thorn ones are, just one is pink, so wouldn't advise using that one!
