Product Reviews

Name: Review:
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to mount my Insta360 X5 with this neat piece from their accessories team. The mount itself is well made and sturdy, which I'm sure will withstand many hours of use.

The packaging was also a welcome surprise - the contents were on time, as expected, and nicely organized.

It seems like I've got something special attached, which came with this stand - that way we can mount for vlogging. There's a bit of an issue, though: the clip on top isn't positioned well, and the camera is slightly skewed; it just needs to be a tad thicker. The real problem lies at the 1/4" screw - it's a circular cover over a connection point, and it can be screwed in tightly, but then it doesn't hold tight enough when you attach the camera. If you tighten the cover to the base of the mount as soon as you put on the camera, you'll loosen it from the stand instead. It's not clear how to secure the screw correctly, since the base is moveable - therefore, using a flat head screw would only introduce an extra risk of wobbling. The flaw in the connection lies in its inherent design: we need something that can be fixed or adjusted as needed, but it can't just be a simple 1/4" screw like any ordinary bolt. It's quite a shame because this could have worked if the manufacturer had included clear instructions for mounting cameras on top of this stand. The quality of these things is also pretty low; I wouldn't recommend using them unless you're careful and know exactly what you're doing.
