Konica X-28 Auto flash shoe mount SPARES REPAIRS NOT WORKING

Konica X-28 Auto flash shoe mount. The battery compartment cover needs tape for it to remain closed and the contacts to work. The flash test button is missing. Not working when battery tested. Light comes on but the flash does not fire. Tested fitted to a DSLR Canon camera but again, no flash and no charging 'whine'. Might be useful to somebody for spares? The case is in really good condition!!
