The VR doesn't work at all. When it does move, it can move very fast and quietly, before slowing, and either stopping, or speeding up again. The motor sounds good when the focus does actually move.
This product would be best suited for photographers who require a versatile lens for various shooting scenarios, such as sports events, architectural photography, and indoor environments.
