The Olympus AZ-300 Superzoom 35mm Film Camera is a compact unit with auto focus, ideal for film photography enthusiasts. This camera first appeared in the late eighties and was introduced as one if the first 'bridge cameras'combining the features of SLR and point and shoot cameras . lt won the European Camera if the Year award in 1988. lt was the first camera to feature a viewfinder that automatically corrects in parallel to the zooming lens. lt takes excellent close up shots It featured a 38 - 105mm zoom lens and was designed for one-handed operation,appearing similar to a camcorder.
